CollieBall – The Ultimate Herding Ball for Big Dogs

Designed for Large, Energetic Breeds:
The CollieBall, with its impressive 95 cm diameter, is specifically crafted for big and active dogs. It's perfect for breeds like German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Rottweilers, and other strong, energetic pups who thrive on mental and physical engagement.

Built to Last with Innovative Design:
The CollieBall is unmatched in durability and functionality, featuring a double-zipper design and a tough Denier ballistic fabric outer layer to ensure long-lasting playtime fun.

  • Two-Layer Durability:

    • Inner Layer: A high-quality, needle valve inner ball delivers resilience and bounce.
    • Outer Layer: Rugged ballistic fabric protects the ball, making it tough, safe, and perfect for heavy use.
  • Premium Needle Valve Inner Ball:
Our inner ball is the best option for holding air longer, making it ideal for long-term use. While it takes more time to inflate than other ball types, it's worth it for the lasting performance. For convenience, we recommend using an air compressor for inflation.

Reinforced for Maximum Durability:

  • Double-stitched seams with heavy-duty nylon thread.
  • A secure, heavy-duty zipper equipped with a detachable puller ensures no loose parts are accessible to your dog.

What's Included in Your Package:

  • Needle Valve Inner Ball
  • Ballistic Cover
  • Pump & Accessories
  • Step-by-Step Manual with Safety Instructions
  • Stylish Drawstring Bag for storage

Why 95 cm CollieBall for German Shepherds, Malinois & Large Working Breeds?

Large working breeds need a herding ball that physically can't be bitten. A full-grown German Shepherd has a jaw span and bite force that can defeat most dog toys within minutes. A Belgian Malinois β€” bred for police and military work β€” is even more determined. For these breeds, the only thing that keeps a ball intact during sustained play is geometry: the ball must be so large that the dog's jaw simply cannot open wide enough to grip it.

That's the job of the 95 cm (37") CollieBall. At nearly a metre across, it's the largest herding ball we make and the only size that suits the working giants of the herding and guarding world. The 95 cm is also a strong physical workout β€” the larger the ball, the more body weight the dog has to commit to move it, which makes it a useful tool for high-energy dogs who don't tire easily on regular walks.

Breeds that fit the 95 cm CollieBall:

  • German Shepherd (standard and working line)
  • Belgian Malinois
  • Belgian Tervuren and Groenendael
  • Rottweiler
  • Anatolian Shepherd
  • Maremma Sheepdog
  • Old English Sheepdog
  • Bernese Mountain Dog (active individuals)
  • Large mixed breeds over 65 cm at the withers

How to confirm 95 cm is the right size: measure your dog from the withers to the ground. If your dog stands taller than 60 cm at the withers and weighs over 25 kg, the 95 cm CollieBall is the right fit. Below 60 cm at the withers, the 75 cm CollieBall is usually a better match β€” too big means harder to nudge and less play.

A note on inflation: the 95 cm CollieBall is significantly larger than a yoga ball most owners have at home. We strongly recommend using an air compressor (a tyre pump works) β€” a hand pump will take a long time. Once fully inflated and smooth (no wrinkles), the ball is at its safest configuration.
