A herding ball is a large inflatable ball that working dogs push, nudge and guide with their nose, chest and shoulder — too big to bite, too tough to pop. It mirrors the exact movement these breeds were bred for over generations.
For Kelpies, Australian Cattle Dogs, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Koolies, Working Stockdogs and German Shepherds — a herding ball isn't enrichment. It's purpose. Even high-drive crossbreeds, Staffies and rescue dogs with working instinct settle into it within minutes.

Built Because HuckleBerry Needed a Job
CollieBall was built in 2021 for HuckleBerry — an Australian Shepherd × Border Collie cross with too much energy and nowhere to put it.
After being displaced by the Santa Cruz Mountain wildfires in 2020, we spent six months with an anxious working dog and no outlet. Nothing on the market was safe, tough or big enough. So we built it.
Five years later, the same ball ships from Tweed Heads to Kelpies in WA, Cattle Dogs in QLD, and Border Collies across NSW.
